Japanese Foreign Minister Takeshi Iwaya has been invited to visit the Chinese mainland on December 25, the Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning announced on Tuesday.
During his visit, Foreign Minister Iwaya is scheduled to hold talks with his Chinese counterpart and attend the second meeting of the High-Level Consultation Mechanism on People-to-People and Cultural Exchanges between China and Japan, according to the spokesperson.
