The Beatles’ First London Museum to Open at Iconic 3 Savile Row in 2027

In a momentous announcement that has sparked excitement among music lovers worldwide, Sir Paul McCartney has revealed plans for the Beatles' first official London museum. Set to open in 2027, the attraction, titled "The Beatles at 3 Savile Row," will be located in the heart of Mayfair, on the very site where the legendary band recorded their final album and performed their final gig.

The museum promises an immersive experience across seven floors, showcasing never-before-seen archive material. One of the primary highlights will be a meticulously recreated basement studio, mirroring the environment where the "Fab Four" recorded the 1970 album Let It Be.

For those visiting the upmarket central London district—renowned globally for its bespoke tailoring—the museum will also offer access to the rooftop. This is the same location where the band staged their iconic, unplanned rooftop concert in 1969, an event that remains one of the most famous moments in pop culture history.

Speaking to the BBC, the 83-year-old pop legend explained the motivation behind the project, noting that while tourists frequently visit Abbey Road, they are unable to enter the studios. "I thought this was a terrific idea," McCartney stated, emphasizing the desire to provide fans with a tangible connection to the band's history.

The initiative is led by Apple Corps, the company that has managed the band's business interests since 1968. According to Apple Corps CEO Tom Greene, the project is part of a broader effort to reexamine the band's enduring legacy and understand what the Beatles mean to contemporary audiences.

The Savile Row building served as the band's headquarters for two years prior to their 1970 break-up. By returning to this location, Apple Corps aims to bring the organization back to its "spiritual home," offering fans a unique and authentic window into the final days of the world's most influential band.
