Hainan’s 6th CICPE Showcases Global Luxury & Chinese Design Trends

The 6th China International Consumer Products Expo (CICPE), currently underway in Hainan, is redefining luxury and cultural fusion with its theme of "Fashion and Quality Living." The event’s second exhibition hall features an immersive display of high-end jewelry, premium beauty products, and innovative home decor, blending global sophistication with traditional Chinese aesthetics.

Returning global luxury brands share space with trending domestic designs, including intricate "Chinese-style" collections that reinterpret historical motifs for modern audiences. Douyin Global Shopping’s pavilion highlights cross-border consumer trends, offering curated overseas bestsellers from cosmetics to smart home gadgets.

CGTN’s Olivia He, during an exclusive tour, noted the expo’s role in bridging international markets: "This is where Parisian elegance meets Hangzhou craftsmanship—a microcosm of 2026’s globalized consumer culture." Over 50 countries and regions are participating, with ASEAN members and European luxury houses drawing significant investor interest.

Business analysts highlight the expo’s timing amid rising demand for premium lifestyle products across Asia. The event runs through April 21, with live-streamed sessions on sustainable fashion and digital retail innovations.
