Selected Works of Xi Jinping on Rule of Law Published in English

The Central Compilation & Translation Press has announced the publication of the first volume of selected works of Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, focusing on the rule of law, now available in English.

Compiled and translated by the Institute of Party History and Literature of the CPC Central Committee, this significant volume brings together a comprehensive collection of fundamental works authored by Xi between December 2012 and February 2025. The collection serves as a detailed roadmap of the legal philosophy and strategic vision that have guided the development of the legal system in the Chinese mainland over the past decade.

The English edition is designed to offer international readers—including scholars, diplomats, and business professionals—a deeper understanding of the conceptual framework behind the rule of law as envisioned by the CPC. By sharing these perspectives, the publication aims to illuminate the historic changes and achievements made in building socialist rule of law with Chinese characteristics in the new era.

For a global audience, this release provides a primary source for analyzing how the Chinese mainland balances governance and legal structures to meet the challenges of a modern globalized economy, fostering a more transparent dialogue on Asia's political and social landscape.
