In a significant move to share China's governance philosophy with a global audience, the fifth volume of "Xi Jinping: The Governance of China" has been published in eight additional languages. According to an official statement released this Monday, the work is now available in French, Russian, Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Japanese, and traditional Chinese.
Published by the Foreign Language Press, this latest volume serves as a comprehensive compilation of the leadership's vision and strategic direction. It features 91 spoken and written works by Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, spanning the period from May 27, 2022, to December 20, 2024. To provide visual context to the ideological framework, the book also includes 41 photographs taken during this timeframe.
The content is organized into 18 thematic sections, offering a detailed look at the CPC Central Committee's efforts to promote high-quality development. The volume specifically documents progress in advancing reform and opening up, as well as the steady march toward building a modern socialist country in all respects. These achievements come amid a complex international landscape and the ongoing tasks of maintaining domestic stability and development.
Beyond domestic policy, the publication highlights the wisdom and solutions the CPC contributes to the global stage, particularly regarding the building of a community with a shared future for humanity. This focus makes the work a valuable resource for academics, investors, and diplomats seeking to understand the strategic trajectory of the Chinese mainland.
This multilingual expansion follows the initial release of the simplified Chinese and English editions, which were published in July 2025. By broadening the linguistic reach of these works, China continues to foster deeper international understanding of its governance model and its role in global affairs.
