During a regular press briefing on Wednesday, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun highlighted Serbia's unique position as the first European country to establish a community with a shared future with China in the new era. He described Serbia as an essential partner for China within Central and Eastern Europe, underscoring the depth of their strategic alignment.
The partnership has seen high-level development in recent years, built upon a foundation of solid political mutual trust. According to spokesperson Guo, both sides have consistently supported each other on core interests and major concerns, resulting in fruitful cooperation and vibrant people-to-people exchanges.
This upcoming visit represents President Vucic's first state visit to China.
