China’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism Vows to Expand Arts Scope

China’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism has announced plans to broaden the nation’s cultural performance market by introducing more high-quality performing arts projects to the public.

Ma Li, deputy director general of the Department of Industry Development of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, shared these initiatives during a recent press briefing.

According to Ma, these efforts aim to enhance cultural exchange and stimulate the domestic arts scene. By widening the scope of available performances, the ministry hopes to foster greater appreciation for the arts among Chinese citizens and promote cultural diversity.
