Global Reactions Intensify as Trump Threatens Iran, NATO Exit Looms

Global tensions escalated on Thursday as world leaders responded to U.S. President Donald Trump's Wednesday night address vowing to "hit Iran extremely hard" within three weeks while signaling potential NATO withdrawal. The remarks came amid ongoing military operations that Trump claims are nearing completion of America's core objectives.

Iran's Defiant Response

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei declared the nation remains united against what he called an "unjust and aggressive war," emphasizing continued resistance to foreign attacks. The Iranian military issued a stark warning through its Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters spokesperson, stating U.S. and Israeli forces underestimate Tehran's strategic capabilities.

"Do not assume you've destroyed our missile systems, drones, or electronic warfare infrastructure," the spokesperson cautioned, predicting "crushing, broader and destructive" retaliatory measures. IRGC Aerospace Force Commander Majid Mousavi added historical context, contrasting Iran's 6,000-year civilization with America's 250-year history.

International Concerns Mount

European allies expressed alarm over Trump's NATO withdrawal hints, with Brussels-based analysts suggesting the remarks could destabilize global security frameworks. Asian markets reacted cautiously, with energy sector stocks fluctuating amid fears of prolonged Middle Eastern conflict disrupting oil supplies.
