Iran’s IRGC Launches Missile Strikes on Israel, US Bases in Gulf

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced on March 25, 2026, that it conducted simultaneous missile attacks targeting Israel and U.S. military facilities in Kuwait, Jordan, and Bahrain. The escalation marks one of the most direct confrontations in the region this year, according to a statement broadcast on Iranian state television.

The IRGC claimed it used precision-guided missiles and attack drones to strike "targets in the heart of the occupied territories" – a reference to Israel – along with American bases hosting regional forces. The operation comes amid heightened tensions over recent security developments in the Middle East.

While verification of damage remains pending, the announcement has already impacted oil markets, with Brent crude futures rising 2.3% in early trading. Regional governments have yet to issue official responses, though security alerts have been raised near strategic installations across the Gulf.
