Kremlin aide Yuri Ushakov stated that while some U.S. proposals were "more or less acceptable," key disagreements remain unresolved.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed via social media that separate consultations with European and U.S. representatives will occur this week. He identified territorial disputes, frozen Russian assets, and security guarantees as critical unresolved issues, calling them "the most sensitive" aspects of negotiations.
Analysts suggest the Miami talks could determine whether Washington can bridge gaps between Moscow and Kyiv ahead of anticipated multilateral discussions in early 2026.
