Prime Minister Keir Starmer visited the scene Friday, pledging enhanced protection for Jewish communities amid growing safety concerns. The attack involved a vehicle ramming and stabbing spree, with Greater Manchester Police confirming the assailant—identified as Jihad al-Shamie—was shot dead by officers during the confrontation.
In a troubling development, authorities revealed one victim may have been struck by police gunfire during the chaotic response.
