Zelenskyy confirmed the suspect's detention via Telegram, stating that 'urgent investigative actions' are underway to uncover all details. Internal Affairs Minister Ihor Klymenko described the crime as meticulously planned, with the alleged shooter apprehended in the Khmelnytskyi region.
Parubiy, who served as parliamentary speaker from 2016 to 2019, played a pivotal role in Ukraine's political reforms and Euro-integration efforts. His death has raised concerns about security challenges in wartime Ukraine, with Zelenskyy vowing accountability.
