Wang, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, emphasized China's readiness to advance high-level exchanges and prioritize building a “community with a shared future.” Both sides pledged to expand collaboration in industry, agriculture, mining, and emerging sectors like cybersecurity and information technology.
CPEC Upgrades and Security
The ministers discussed revitalizing the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), with Wang urging improved safety measures for Chinese projects and personnel. Dar assured Pakistan would “combat all forms of terrorism” and maintain a secure business environment, calling CPEC a “model for regional prosperity.”
Multilateral Alignment
Both nations committed to opposing unilateralism and strengthening the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), with Pakistan pledging support for China's SCO chairmanship ahead of the Tianjin Summit.
