Global Protests Condemn Gaza Starvation as ‘War Crime’

Protesters in Tel Aviv and New York have intensified calls to end Israel's military operations in Gaza, labeling its blockade policies as a 'starvation war crime.' Demonstrators highlighted the dire humanitarian crisis in the besieged enclave, where Gaza's Government Media Office reports at least 115 deaths linked to famine and malnutrition amid shortages of food, water, and medicine.

In Tel Aviv, activists carried flour bags and photos of malnourished children, holding signs declaring 'Starvation is a war crime' and 'We are all responsible.' One protester told China Media Group (CMG) the demonstrations aimed to oppose Israel's policies, urging immediate humanitarian aid access and a ceasefire. 'Gazans are starving—this is a disaster for everyone,' he said, echoing warnings from international agencies about worsening famine conditions.

New York protesters similarly demanded an end to U.S. military support for Israel, with signs reading 'Stop starving Gaza' and 'End all U.S. aid to Israel.' A demonstrator accused the U.S. of complicity, stating, 'We refuse to fund genocide.' Others called for reopening the Rafah border with Egypt to facilitate aid delivery without reliance on organizations they criticized as ineffective.

The rallies underscore growing global concern over Gaza's humanitarian collapse, with activists emphasizing cross-border solidarity and accountability for policies exacerbating civilian suffering.
