An underground collapse at a copper mine in central Kazakhstan has tragically taken the lives of seven workers, authorities confirmed on Tuesday.
Emergency services reported that the body of the seventh miner was found following the incident, which occurred at a depth of approximately 640 meters the previous day.
The collapse, described by the country's emergency ministry as a \"rock mass collapse,\" took place on Monday evening at the Kazakhmys mine located in the resource-rich Ulytau region.
