Four people were killed and five injured in the town of Lgov in Russia’s Kursk region after Ukrainian shelling, the region’s acting governor, Alexander Khinshtein, reported on Wednesday.
“A five-story residential building, two single-story residential buildings, and a single-story beauty salon were seriously damaged,” Khinshtein wrote on Telegram. “The blast wave blew out windows in neighboring private residences and damaged at least 12 cars. A small section of a gas pipeline was also destroyed by the blast,” he added.
At the time of reporting, Ukrainian authorities have not responded to these claims.
