Brazil Plane Crash in Gramado Leaves Nine Dead, Authorities Confirm

At least nine people lost their lives on Sunday when a small plane crashed in the tourist city of Gramado, located in the southern Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul, authorities have reported.

Cleber dos Santos Lima, director of the Interior Police Department of the state civil police, confirmed the fatalities, stating, “There are nine deaths confirmed by the civil defense, and there are no survivors of the plane.”

The tragic accident occurred in one of Brazil’s most popular tourist destinations, known for its picturesque landscapes and vibrant cultural attractions. Emergency services were swiftly dispatched to the crash site, but unfortunately, there were no survivors found among the wreckage.

Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the crash, and further details are expected as the investigation progresses.
