Russia’s embassy in Syria has urged Russian nationals to leave the country on commercial flights following an offensive by insurgents against the Syrian army, Russia’s TASS state news agency reported on Friday.
The embassy released a statement advising all Russian citizens in Syria to arrange for immediate departure due to escalating security concerns. \
