U.S. Embassy in Kyiv Closes Amid Anticipated Air Attack

The U.S. Embassy in Kyiv has announced its closure on Wednesday following information about a potential significant air attack. The U.S. Department of State Consular Affairs conveyed this update in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter.

“The Embassy will be closed and recommends U.S. citizens be prepared to immediately shelter in the event an air alert is announced,” it said.

The advisory highlights growing concerns in the region and urges vigilance among U.S. nationals in Ukraine.
