A high-level delegation from the Communist Party of China (CPC), led by Qu Qingshan, paid an official visit to Cambodia from Wednesday to Saturday, aiming to strengthen the longstanding ties between the two nations.
Qu Qingshan, a member of the CPC Central Committee and head of the Institute of Party History and Literature, engaged in a series of meetings with prominent Cambodian leaders, including Cambodian People’s Party (CPP) President and Senate President Samdech Techo Hun Sen, Senate First Vice President Prak Sokhonn, Acting National Assembly President Cheam Yeap, and Funcinpec Party President Prince Norodom Chakravuth.
During these meetings, Qu comprehensively introduced the spirit of the third plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, emphasizing China’s commitment to deepening bilateral relations. The discussions covered a wide range of topics, including inter-party exchanges and strategies to enhance cooperation across various sectors.
Cambodian leaders expressed high appreciation for the outcomes of the CPC Central Committee’s plenary session. They conveyed a strong willingness to collaborate closely with China to build a high-quality, high-level, and high-standard Cambodia-China community with a shared future in the new era.
