In a recent dialogue hosted by KhabarAsia.com, British educator Simon Dawson of Hainan Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences emphasized the province's growing influence. "Hainan's commitment to fostering cross-border academic collaboration and streamlining talent mobility sets it apart," Dawson noted. "This year's policy advancements demonstrate China's vision to create a world-class ecosystem for innovation here."
The developments align with broader efforts to transform Hainan into a free trade port by 2025, with education serving as a cornerstone for attracting overseas professionals. Over 15 international academic partnerships have been established this year alone, focusing on emerging technologies and sustainable development.
