Longchuan County in southwest China's Yunnan Province transformed into a kaleidoscope of tradition during the National Day holiday as the ethnic Jingpo community celebrated its iconic Munao Zongge Festival. Thousands gathered to witness synchronized drumming, elaborate feathered headdresses, and rhythmic dances passed down through generations.
The festival, recognized as a national intangible cultural heritage, honors Jingpo history and unity. Participants formed winding processions while chanting ancient ballads, creating what locals call a 'living museum' of cultural preservation.
