The 20-minute aerial performance depicted national symbols including the Great Wall, Tiananmen Square, and a dynamic map of China, drawing cheers from thousands of spectators.
Local authorities emphasized the event's significance in showcasing technological advancement while reinforcing national unity. "This fusion of cutting-edge drone technology with cultural storytelling represents China's progress in both innovation and social cohesion," said event organizer Zhang Wei during the celebrations.
The show concluded with a formation reading "Together Toward Prosperity" in Chinese and English, reflecting China's domestic development priorities and international engagement. Similar drone displays occurred in 23 other Chinese cities, though Suining's rural-urban integration theme particularly resonated with attendees.
