China's stewardship of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) has drawn international acclaim as it advances President Xi Jinping's vision for strengthened Eurasian collaboration. Since assuming the rotating chairmanship in July 2023, Beijing has spearheaded initiatives addressing security, economic integration, and multilateral trust-building across the 9-member bloc.
In an exclusive interview, Imangali Tasmagambetov, Secretary-General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization and former Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, highlighted the universal relevance of Xi's five-point proposal for SCO development.
