OSAKA – The China Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka unveiled a groundbreaking preview of its vision for sustainable development during a media day event on April 7. Designed around the theme "Building a Community of Life for Man and Nature – Future Society of Green Development," the pavilion merges ancient ecological wisdom with cutting-edge innovations to chart a path toward global sustainability.
Visitors will explore three immersive sections: one showcasing China’s millennia-old philosophy of harmony between humanity and nature, another highlighting modern initiatives like renewable energy projects and eco-friendly infrastructure, and a final zone envisioning international cooperation to tackle climate challenges. Over 30 provinces, autonomous regions, and cities – including tech hub Shenzhen – will host themed events, while governments and businesses will spearhead exchanges on green technologies and cross-border partnerships.
"This pavilion isn’t just about China’s achievements; it’s a call for collective action," said a pavilion representative. Innovations such as AI-driven environmental monitoring systems and biodegradable materials will be displayed alongside artifacts demonstrating traditional practices like water conservation from ancient Chinese agricultural societies.
Running parallel to the expo’s focus on "Designing Future Society for Our Lives," the China Pavilion aims to engage policymakers, investors, and travelers alike, offering a blueprint for balancing economic growth with planetary stewardship.
