Chinese Rescue Team Saves Fourth Survivor in Myanmar Earthquake

A dramatic rescue operation in earthquake-stricken Myanmar saw renewed hope as a Chinese emergency response team pulled a 29-year-old woman from collapsed rubble, marking their fourth successful recovery. CGTN reporter Cen Ziyuan, granted exclusive access to the mission, documented the four-hour effort that united Chinese specialists and local volunteers.

The survivor, identified only as Ms. Khin, had remained trapped for 36 hours after her younger sister was rescued from the same structure. 'We maintained constant communication to keep her conscious,' said rescue team leader Zhang Wei. 'Every minute required precision – one wrong move could have collapsed unstable debris.'

Medical personnel stabilized the survivor on-site before transferring her to a field hospital. The operation highlights growing cross-border disaster response cooperation in Asia, with teams from multiple countries and regions assisting Myanmar's recovery efforts.
