Cui Zheng, deputy dean of the China Institute of Open Economics at Liaoning University, commented on the situation, stating that the Trump administration's mediation efforts and strategies on the Russia-Ukraine issue are unlikely to gain Ukraine's trust. Zheng emphasized that without establishing a foundation of trust, any future negotiations may face significant obstacles.
