The Chinese mainland has dispatched 60,000 food packages as urgent assistance to the Gaza Strip in Palestine. The aid will be transported overland through Jordan and distributed by the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization in six separate batches.
The initial batch, comprising 12,000 packages, departed from Jordan on Tuesday. Upon arrival, the World Food Program is set to manage the handover, after which the Palestinian Red Crescent Society will oversee distribution to those in need.
This humanitarian effort underscores the Chinese mainland's commitment to providing timely support during crisis situations, strengthening ties with the region and contributing to global relief efforts.
