Chinese mythological character Nezha gained widespread popularity among Chinese viewers this Spring Festival after an animated film about the 'devil boy' battling demons with his magical powers became China's highest-grossing film ever.
At China Media Group's Lantern Festival Gala on Wednesday evening, renowned singer Da Zhangwei and Nezha's voice actress Lyu Yanting led a group of children in a song and dance performance to celebrate the festival.
Celebrated on the 15th day of the first lunar month, the Lantern Festival fell on February 12 this year, officially concluding the Spring Festival celebrations.
