The ice and snow tourism market on the outskirts of Jincheng City, Shanxi Province, reached its peak during the recent Spring Festival holiday and remains active. In a bid to further boost the sector, the government of Lingchuan County, located in Southeast Shanxi Province, has issued a total of 5 million yuan (approximately $690,000) worth of vouchers for winter tourism. These vouchers, distributed in two rounds since early January, are set to be handed out by the end of February. They can be used for ice and snow sports activities, associated products, and accommodation expenses at ski resorts, encouraging both locals and visitors to engage in winter recreational activities.
