President Xi Jinping Visits Flood-Affected Village in Northeast Liaoning

President Xi Jinping, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, on Wednesday braved the cold to visit people affected by floods in Zhujiagou village, Suizhong County of Huludao City, in northeast China's Liaoning Province.

The visit comes ahead of the Spring Festival, the biggest holiday in China, which falls on January 29 this year.

During his visit, President Xi met with local residents, assessing the flood damage and overseeing relief efforts. He emphasized the importance of rebuilding homes and restoring normal life as soon as possible.

President Xi expressed his concern for the well-being of the affected villagers, ensuring they receive adequate support during the recovery process.

The President's visit highlights the government's commitment to assisting flood-hit areas and underscores the significance of supporting rural communities.
