The institute is renowned for its “Man-made Sun” project, a cutting-edge endeavor in harnessing nuclear fusion energy.
This visit follows Ma’s trip to the Harbin Electric Corporation in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province, known as China’s earliest research and development and manufacturing base for power generation equipment. During his visits, Ma expressed a keen interest in fostering collaboration between both sides in the field of energy technology.
Ma and his foundation emphasized the potential for increased cooperation in nuclear fusion and power generation technologies, aiming to strengthen ties and share expertise.
