China-U.S. Business Delegation to Boost Trade Ties in December 2025

A Chinese business delegation will visit the United States and Canada in early December 2025 to strengthen economic cooperation, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) announced on November 27. The delegation includes enterprises from agriculture, biomedicine, finance, logistics, and other key sectors.

CCPIT spokesperson Yang Fan stated the visit aims to “increase mutual trust, dispel misgivings, and deepen cooperation” through face-to-face dialogues with U.S. and Canadian government and business leaders. The agenda includes cross-industry roundtables and presentations on China’s latest high-standard opening-up policies.

This initiative follows a series of recent bilateral exchanges, including November’s Health Economy Innovation Dialogue and a medical-insurance industry forum co-hosted with the U.S. Embassy in China. A Sino-U.S. catering industry collaboration event is also reportedly in preparation.

Yang noted strong participation from both nations’ businesses, reflecting optimism about stabilizing bilateral relations. The delegation will conclude its North American tour with meetings in Canada at the invitation of the Canada-China Business Council.
