China, Germany Strengthen Financial Ties in Beijing Dialogue

Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng and German Vice Chancellor Lars Klingbeil co-chaired the fourth China-Germany High-Level Financial Dialogue in Beijing on Monday, reaffirming commitments to deepen bilateral cooperation and stabilize global economic growth.

He Lifeng, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, emphasized China's readiness to implement consensus reached by leaders of both countries. 'We aim to open a new chapter in our all-round strategic partnership and contribute to world economic stability,' he stated during the talks.

Klingbeil echoed the sentiment, noting Germany's willingness to strengthen financial exchanges and drive bilateral relations forward. The dialogue yielded multiple mutual agreements, though specific details remain undisclosed as of November 17, 2025.

Both leaders also participated in the second Sino-German Financial Roundtable, signaling continued engagement between the two economies. The outcomes align with broader efforts to address global financial challenges through coordinated policy measures.
