A traditional sports festival celebrating the cultural heritage of farmers and herders has commenced with vibrant enthusiasm in Xingping Town, Yuli County, located in the northwest of China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. The event has attracted over 4,000 spectators eager to witness a series of exhilarating competitions, including horse racing, buzkashi (goat grabbing), and ram fighting. Riders from various parts of Xinjiang showcased their skills, bringing more than 100 horses to participate in the festivities.
