In a vibrant celebration of cultural heritage and unity, Sunan Yugur Autonomous County in Gansu Province marked its 70th anniversary with a spectacular horse racing event at the Suolangge Racecourse in Zhangye City.

The racecourse came alive as riders from 21 ethnic groups showcased their equestrian skills. Representative teams from surrounding provinces and cities joined the festivities, bringing together over 1,000 riders adorned in festive ethnic attire. The event featured an impressive lineup of 486 horses and 72 camels, highlighting traditional sports such as horse racing and camel racing.
