All Aboard China’s Panda-Themed Train Connecting Chengdu and Qingdao

A unique panda-themed train departed from Chengduxi Railway Station on Friday, embarking on a journey to Qingdao. Decked out with giant panda images inside and out, the train’s design draws inspiration from the bronze relics of the Sanxingdui Ruins, offering passengers an immersive cultural experience.

The train is equipped with a variety of facilities including a karaoke room, dance hall, and mahjong room, accommodating over 400 passengers. “Panda Butlers” are on hand to provide one-stop services, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable journey. To keep travelers entertained, the train hosts themed activities such as Sichuan Opera performances and guzheng concerts, showcasing traditional Chinese music.

Since its launch on March 28, 2021, China’s first panda-themed tourist train has visited numerous cities across the country, playing a significant role in promoting local culture and boosting the tourism industry. The initiative reflects China’s efforts to enhance cultural connectivity and provide innovative travel experiences for both domestic and international tourists.
