In a heart-warming display of regional exchange, eleven kindergarten children from the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region have embarked on a winter study tour to Heilongjiang Province in northeast China. Their journey has captivated Chinese netizens and strengthened cultural ties between the southern and northern regions.
Heilongjiang, renowned for its abundant ice and snow resources, has seen a surge in tourism this winter, particularly in its provincial capital Harbin. Amidst the bustling crowds of visitors, the young travelers from Guangxi have stood out, bringing joy and curiosity to the snowy landscapes.
Accompanied by three teachers, the children aged between 3 and 6 years old set off from Nanning, the regional capital of Guangxi, on December 28. Their adventure included a stop in Huaihua, Hunan Province, before arriving in Heilongjiang on December 31. The study tour aims to provide the children with firsthand experiences of diverse climates and cultures within China.
