Dawano Kedir, Deputy Head of Mission at the Ethiopian Embassy to China, has extended a warm invitation to Chinese tourists to visit Ethiopia’s vibrant capital, Addis Ababa, in 2024. In a recent interview with CGTN reporter Shen Shiwei, Kedir emphasized the unique attractions that Ethiopia offers, encouraging travelers to experience the country’s rich culture, historical sites, and breathtaking landscapes.
“I invite Chinese to visit the very beautiful Addis Ababa, Ethiopia in 2024, and many Ethiopians to visit the very nice and beautiful China,” said Kedir. His remarks highlight the growing ties between Ethiopia and China and the mutual interest in cultural exchange and tourism.
Ethiopia, often referred to as the cradle of humanity, boasts a myriad of attractions for adventurous travelers. From the ancient rock-hewn churches of Lalibela to the dramatic peaks of the Simien Mountains, the country offers a diverse range of experiences.
