After two years of meticulous creation, design, and construction, China’s first comprehensive immersive digital experience hall themed around the Long March, known as the “Red Ribbon,” has officially opened in Guiyang, Guizhou Province. Commencing its trial operations on November 22, the “Red Ribbon” offers visitors a unique opportunity to relive a pivotal chapter in China’s history through cutting-edge technology.

Located in the heart of Guiyang, the experience hall spans multiple floors, each dedicated to different phases of the Long March—a significant military retreat undertaken by the Red Army of the Communist Party of China from 1934 to 1936. Utilizing immersive digital installations, interactive exhibits, and multimedia presentations, the “Red Ribbon” brings to life the hardships and heroism of the soldiers who traversed thousands of kilometers through treacherous terrains.

Visitors can walk alongside digital representations of the Red Army, cross simulated snow-capped mountains, and experience the intense battles and strategic maneuvers that defined the Long March.
