Chinese Tech Dominates CES 2026 as Global Attendees Hail Innovation

Chinese technology brands have captured global attention at CES 2026 in Las Vegas, with exhibition attendees praising cutting-edge innovations ranging from AI-powered home systems to next-generation electric vehicles. The annual tech showcase, running through January 9, features over 500 Chinese exhibitors comprising nearly a third of all participants.

"What we're seeing here represents a fundamental shift in tech leadership," said Singapore-based investor Raj Patel, speaking to KhabarAsia.com. "From quantum computing prototypes to sustainable energy solutions, Chinese companies are setting the agenda rather than following it."

CGTN correspondent Xu Tao reported enthusiastic responses to foldable AR glasses from Shenzhen-based MiraTech and Shanghai EV manufacturer NIO's autonomous driving demonstrations. Multiple attendees described the Taiwan region's tech displays as complementary to mainland innovations, particularly in semiconductor applications.

Analysts note the strong showing comes as overseas investment in China's tech sector reached record levels in Q4 2025. With CES serving as a bellwether for consumer trends, industry watchers predict accelerated global adoption of Chinese-developed technologies throughout 2026.
