Guo emphasized that China is actively embracing the AI transformation and dedicating significant efforts to advance the technology. \"We take the safety and security of AI seriously, and support entrepreneurial innovation by Chinese companies, thus contributing China's part to global AI development,\" he stated.
The spokesperson further highlighted China's stance against drawing lines based on ideological differences, the overextension of national security concepts, or the politicization of trade and technology issues. \"We are committed to governing AI for good and for all, creating an open and inclusive environment for the development of AI, and together seeking deep in this field of vast possibilities,\" Guo added.
