Chang’e-6 Lunar Samples to Debut at 15th Airshow China in Zhuhai

The mysteries of the moon’s far side are coming closer to Earth as China’s Chang’e-6 lunar samples prepare to make their public debut. The State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense announced on Wednesday that these precious samples, collected by the Chang’e-6 mission, will be displayed at the 15th China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition, popularly known as Airshow China.

In addition to the lunar samples, the Chang’e-6 return capsule will also be featured, offering enthusiasts and professionals alike a rare glimpse into the technology propelling China’s space exploration forward. “This exhibition allows the public to witness the remarkable advancements of our nation’s space industry,” said Li Yang, an official with the agency.

Set against the backdrop of Zhuhai’s coastal skyline in Guangdong Province, the airshow will run from November 12 to 17.
