China Sci-Tech Innovation Gala Kicks Off in Beijing, Highlighting Tech Advancement

Beijing, July 10 — The inaugural “China Sci-Tech Innovation Gala” was launched in Beijing, marking a significant milestone in the nation’s commitment to technological advancement and innovation. The event, organized by China Media Group (CMG), brought together prominent figures in science, technology, and government to celebrate and promote cutting-edge developments.

Shen Haixiong, vice minister of the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and president of CMG, officially opened the gala alongside key officials. Among them were Lin Xin, vice minister and secretary general of the Ministry of Science and Technology; Wang Jinzhan, secretary of the Secretariat of the China Association for Science and Technology; Yu Aihua, deputy secretary of the CPC Anhui Provincial Committee and secretary of the CPC Anhui Provincial Political and Legal Affairs Commission; and Zhang Hongwen, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Anhui Provincial Committee and secretary of the CPC Hefei Municipal Committee.

The gala aims to showcase China’s latest achievements in science and technology, fostering collaboration between innovators, researchers, and industry leaders. It serves as a platform to highlight the nation’s strides in areas such as artificial intelligence, biotechnology, sustainable energy, and more.

Members of CMG’s editorial board, including Xue Jijun, Jiang Wenbo, and Zhou Zhenhong, were also in attendance, underscoring the media group’s dedication to promoting scientific literacy and innovation across the country.

“The China Sci-Tech Innovation Gala represents our nation’s ongoing dedication to advancing technological frontiers,” said Shen Haixiong during his opening remarks. “By fostering an environment of collaboration and innovation, we are paving the way for breakthroughs that will benefit not only China but the global community.”
