Women's doubles world No. 1 pair Liu Shengshu and Tan Ning overcame Thailand's Hathaithip Mijad and Napapakorn Tungkasatan in a three-game thriller (21-13, 18-21, 21-10), demonstrating why they remain tournament favorites.
Mixed doubles top seeds Feng Yanzhe and Huang Dongping showcased championship form, defeating Indonesia's Amri Syahnawi and Nita Violina Marwah 21-10, 21-15.
