Marking the 20th anniversary of the 2006 Turin Winter Games, the 2026 event will span multiple regions, featuring dual opening ceremony venues in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo. A symbolic dual cauldron design aims to visually unite the host cities, while two flagbearers will carry Italy's tricolor to represent the distinct cultural identities of Milan and Cortina.
