Beijing Set to Host 2026 Four Continents Figure Skating Championships

Beijing prepares to welcome elite figure skaters from four continents as the 2026 ISU Four Continents Figure Skating Championships returns to the Chinese capital for the first time in 23 years. From January 22-25, athletes will compete at the historic 'Double Olympic' venue that previously hosted both Summer and Winter Games.

This year's championships hold special significance as a final proving ground before February's Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics. The Chinese team will field its complete Olympic roster, offering fans and analysts their last comprehensive look at national medal contenders across all disciplines.

Over 100 competitors from Asia, the Americas, Africa, and Oceania are expected to participate, with the event showcasing both established stars and emerging talent. The return to Beijing marks a full-circle moment for Chinese winter sports, following the city's successful hosting of the 2022 Winter Olympics.
