Olympic champion Zhang Yufei continued her dominance in Shenzhen's pools on Sunday, securing her third medal at China's 15th National Games with a decisive 50-meter butterfly victory. The Jiangsu native's 25.61-second triumph adds to her growing legacy ahead of potential 2025 international competitions.

Hong Kong SAR witnessed a historic moment as Ian Ho Yen-tou claimed the region's first-ever men's swimming gold at the Games, clocking 21.71 seconds in the 50-meter freestyle. 'This victory belongs to everyone who supported me through the training cycles,' Ho stated after his record-chasing performance.

Other standout moments included Hebei's Li Bingjie completing a 'double treble' in distance events and Tianjin's Wang Changhao successfully defending his 100-meter butterfly title. The swimming competitions have highlighted both established champions and emerging talents, with Zhejiang's young swimmers making multiple podium appearances.
