Chinese table tennis stars Sun Yingsha and Wang Chuqin cemented their dominance in mixed doubles with a decisive victory at the WTT China Smash in Beijing on Friday. The sixth-seeded pair defeated compatriots Huang Youzheng and Chen Yi 11-8, 11-9, 11-9, securing their fifth Grand Smash-level title as a team.

In men's singles, France's Felix Lebrun ended local favorite Chen Junsong's surprise run with a dramatic 3-2 win (11-6, 12-10, 7-11, 9-11, 11-5, 12-10). The seventh-seeded European will face China's Lin Shidong, who swept Japan's Yukiya Uda in straight games.

The women's draw saw top seed Sun Yingsha survive a seven-game marathon against World No. 5 Wang Yidi (14-12, 4-11, 11-6, 7-11, 12-14, 11-3, 11-8), setting up a semifinal clash with third-seeded Chen Xingtong. The Macao SAR's Zhu Yuling fell 4-2 to Chen in their quarterfinal match.

South Korea's Shin Yu-bin continues her breakthrough run, advancing to face China's Wang Manyu in the other women's semifinal. The tournament concludes Sunday with finals across all categories.
