China Secures Dual Silver Medals at World Aquatics Championships

China's artistic swimming team made waves at the 2025 World Aquatics Championships in Doha, claiming two silver medals on Monday through a blend of youthful energy and technical precision. Seventeen-year-old Guo Muye and twin sisters Lin Yanhan and Lin Yanjun delivered standout performances that underscored China's growing prominence in the sport.

The Lin sisters captivated audiences with their 'Warriors of Moon Shadow' routine, earning 301.4057 points in the women's duet technical final. Their synchronized movements and dramatic storytelling secured second place behind Austria's Alexandri sisters, while neutral athletes Mayya Doroshko and Tatiana Gayday claimed bronze. 'We studied our competitors' techniques closely,' Lin Yanhan told reporters. 'This experience shows us where we can push harder.'

Earlier in the day, Guo Muye redeemed his fourth-place technical final finish with a silver-winning 220.1926 points in the men's solo free routine. The teenager's dynamic performance trailed only gold medalist Aleksandr Maltsev of Russia, with Italy's Filippo Pelati completing the podium. 'This medal motivates me to refine every element – from aerial height to artistic expression,' Guo remarked, already eyeing future competitions.
